fotos by design uses a process called sublimation to imprint items, resulting in vibrant, photo-quality images that are permanent, UV resistant, and very durable. On hard substances, such as tiles, the image is actually below the surface coating. On soft substrates, such as mouse pads, the image becomes part of the material. All textiles for photo bags, cushions, and aprons are printed using dye sublimation printing which means your chosen image is embedded into the fabric (not just printed onto the surface) and is therefore extremely durable. It can be washed or wiped down without fear of dyes or inks running.
